# URI

Uniform Resource Identifier in scheme:opaque form used to identify a resource or address, e.g. "gobl:acme.example.com" or "iso6523-actorid-upis::9920:x3157928m".

## Validation Rules

| Field | Test | Validation Code / Message |

| <small>URI</small> | <ul class="gobl-test"><li>Length between 0 and 2048</li></ul> | `GOBL-CBC-URI-01`<br />Uri must be no longer than 2048 characters |
| <small>URI</small> | <ul class="gobl-test"><li>Valid uri</li></ul> | `GOBL-CBC-URI-02`<br />Uri must be a valid absolute URI with a scheme |
